DPP Day 7

A lot of today was not the type of day you want to document.  And so, I didn't. After a weekend of busy, basketball, sleepovers, and parties, Monday really earned its reputation today. Nothing went smoothly.  And it really took the smallest of things to create the biggest of reactions.  After work - in the effort to keep us busy, we ate Panera, got Elizabeth an outfit for her concert that she can wear and play cello tomorrow, and stopped at Barnes and Noble for some reading and treat eating.  Rich and I had really had it today when the boys weren't listening and wouldn't leave the toy department.  We would head toward the girls clothes, turn around and the boys would be gone.  Finally, we grew weary of fetching the boys from the toys.   But for once, instead of crabbiness, we met them with humor.  This is how the girls, Rich and I went to the toy department to retrieve the boys.

Taken by our 5 year old.  Ben - naturally emerged from the department ready to battle with a light saber.  Never misses a beat that one. Brandon surrendered easily in fits of giggles.  These are the types of moments that can really turn a day around.  *Sigh*  Why didn't we think of this earlier??
